PowerUp Heroes Coming to Kinect This June

By Robert Hathorne | 13 April 2011 | 1 Comment

This June, Ubisoft will be releasing PowerUp Heroes exclusively for Kinect. While the title might sound a little silly, the game concept is actually pretty sweet. It’s a full-body combat game in which you pit your avatar against the computer or friends either locally or online. As you progress in singleplayer, you’ll unlock the suits of your enemies, such as the Necromancer (above) that lets you summon skeletons to your side.

Honestly, I’m a lot more excited about this than some of the other “hardcore” stuff coming up for Kinect. The concept sounds genuinely fun, and seems to be something completely unique rather than just a rail-shooter. Let’s hope this gives us a reason to dust-off our Kinects.

Probabely one of the best for Kinect after the dancing ones.
