Ever wonder what those spindly things are hanging off the back of Chell’s legs? It’s actually pretty obvious, but that doesn’t make this video any less hilarious. I hope this isn’t the last we hear from Cave Johnson, what with Portal 2 releasing on PC, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360 on April 19.

I just realized that this also explains why your view always rotates so you’re facing straight up in the game. That “Watch her try to fall on her head” line.
That’s a game trope I just implicitly accepted. Very cool that they explain that via the setting too.
