New Sonic Dashing Towards Disappointment

The Sonic the Hedgehog Facebook page reveals a new Sonic game via an exclusive trailer. Above the video is a wall post that reads “It’s here…The first look at the new Sonic game! But what’s it all about?!” I don’t know… why don’t you tell us, Sonic? You’re in it, aren’t you? The trailer doesn’t reveal much except that there’s a new Sonic game for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 coming in 2011 that will probably have a “Green Hill Zone” level and also seems to have something to do with clones — they’re doing it again, aren’t they?

Excepting Sonic 1, 2, maybe 3, and Sonic Adventure, the rest in the series are often criminally bad. I’ve been abused too long by that savage, blue haired rodent, so I’m refusing to be excited about this one…unless…no, I will not play another Sonic game…no, it’s will is too strong…must resist…

    Not many people noticed the Renaissance sonic is in right now. I’m looking forward to it.

    It’s not only sonic 1, 2, 3 and adventure who were amazing but also sonic&knuckles, sonic CD sonic adventure 2 ,sonic the hedgehog 4 and sonic colors.

    Okay, it doesn’t look too bad. Yes, its a teaser so we can’t really judge it at this point but, I dunno if you guys heard of the SEGA promise, but Sega pretty much promised to stop making bad games. Sonic Colors wasn’t bad, Sonic Unleashed wasn’t bad except for the night stages, and ’06 was eh..My point is, don’t judge it too harshly yet. Wait until more is revealed.

    actually im sure its gonna be real crap. pretty sure its gonna be something like the present sonic meets up with the past, you can tell by the drawings of the two sonics.

    I saw a possible funny prediction saying that Sonic will go into shooter instead of runner and Dr. Eggman is FINALLY killing some innocents. Well, that’s what I read from a GameInformer I think…

    Sega is releasing episodic Sonic’s on PSN. That last one that bombed was ep1.
