Dirt 3 Collector’s Edition is Stupid Expensive

I always thought night vision goggles and the RC-XD were the most ridiculous pack-ins I’d see with a game, but that was before I saw the price tag for the Dirt 3 “Ken Block Gymkhana RC Car Bundle,” which GameStop is currently peddling for $299. Yep, I double-checked.
So, for a whopping $150 more than Call of Duty: Black Ops‘ “Prestige Edition”, what do you get? Apparently, just the game ($60), and a 1/16 scale RC car. The listing doesn’t provide any dimensions beyond that scale, but I’m assuming it’s larger than the game box (pictured below). To put that price in perspective, you can get a 160GB PlayStation 3 or a 250GB Xbox 360 for the same price as this bundle — that’s insane! Will any of you Money Bag McGees be picking this up for PlayStation 3 or Xbox 360 on May 24?

RC and a game? Now that’s just a rip-off!
Lol the only reason that black ops was able to do it was because its target audience was a group of people who appreciate toy cars. I didn’t think dirt had alot of 13 year olds. But hey, they probably understand this and because they wont be making alot of sales because of this issue in demographics they have to get huge profits on the ones they actually do sell.
