Capcom Bringing Mario Arcade/Gambling Game to Japan

If Capcom were to announce that they were developing a proper Mario game, fans across the world be greatly anticipating the prospects of Nintendo’s best games developed by Capcom’s best and brightest. Interestingly, Capcom is indeed developing a Mario game, but it’s neither a proper Mario title nor a particularly original one. Called New Super Mario Bros. Wii Coin World, this is a touchscreen-enabled game for up to four players involving slots and jackpots, terms better suited to slot machines. Is Nintendo and Capcom making gambling machines with the friendly faces of Mario and his friends based in the New Super Mario World? Possibly, although the game itself looks fairly fun.
