Havok Coming to Android Phones Starting With Xperia Play

Havok is one of those back-end physics engines that run a multitude of games, powerful in its own right and flexible enough to be used in a multitude of games. Not so on mobile phones, but with the new Gingerbread version of Android now available, phones are much more capable.

Havok was one example of middleware coming to the Xperia Play, and if you watch the video above, you can see the program used to full effect on Sony Ericsson’s Xperia Play. Not too shabby!
