A new trailer for Techland’s Call of Juarez: The Cartel should convince the haters that moving the game to modern day is actually a pretty sweet idea. At least now we know the game’s tone is much more Bad Boys II than No Country for Old Men. Also, I know I’m one of three people that have played the Call of Juarez series, but am I the only one that thinks the main mustachioed border patrol guy is visually similar to Reverend Ray McCall? He’s got the hat, the coat, and a crucifix necklace.

How cool would it be if that character was a distant descendant of the Rev? Very cool.

    The new wild west?
Seems like Techland are trying to bring something new to the franchise, instead of “don’t fix what’s not broken”.I’d give them a chance, but there are always going to be fanboys raging for changing the setting.
