Sony Releases Official Piracy Statement: They Bannin Urveryone Out Here!

While this response is a little late coming, Sony issued an official statement and declaration of policy when it comes to hackers. The wording is unsurprising:

Consumers using circumvention devices or running unauthorized or pirated software will have access to the PlayStation Network and access to Qriocity services through PlayStation 3 System terminated permanently.

To avoid this, consumers must immediately cease use and remove all circumvention devices and delete all unauthorized or pirated software from their PlayStation 3 systems.

In short: the banhammer is gassed up and ready to squash some nerds. They didn’t announce when full-scale enforcement would start (because that would be stupid), but it won’t be long.

Priacy statement? Don’t you mean piracy statement?

Also, you need an area where us ‘grammar nazis’ can suggest corrections to misspellings
