Mortal Kombat Getting Live Action Digital Series
A wise man once said “I’m sorry I pimp-slapped you into that china cabinet. I used excessive force. Oftentimes, I cross the line, but I try to do so in the name of what’s right.” Oh yeah, it was Black Dynamite of the mock-blaxploitation film Black Dynamite. The man behind the man fighting The Man, Michael Jai White will be fighting for what’s right once again in the upcoming Mortal Kombat digital series to release around the same time as the Mortal Kombat game on April 19.
Joining White, playing Jax, will be Jeri Ryan of Star Trek: Voyager as Sonya Blade, Darren Shahlavi as Kano, as well as the unannounced performers of Scorpion and Sub-Zero. The series is being directed by Mortal Kombat: Rebirth creator Kevin Tancharoen and will is planned to contain nine episodes.
