Dark Souls Could Haunt Sony NGP

As he toils away in the forge on Dark Souls, Demon’s Souls creator Hidetaka Miyazaki is considering the potential in Sony’s PSP2, uh, erm, NGP (we’ll see how long that name lasts).

Speaking to Eurogamer Miyazaki said “We’re not considering [a port of Dark Souls to NGP] right now but there’s always a chance. There’s always a sense that I’d like to try and do something on that platform.”

Mayazaki also said you can calm your fears about him half-assing it. “If we were going to port [the series] to the NGP, I would probably redesign it so it fits the handheld. It won’t be a straight port, if we do happen to do it.”
