c’mon. dont pirate games. I buy 100% ORIGINAL pc games. look at the bright side of buying original, u can play online, and you will help the developers and publishers make a better sequel of the game (if it will have a sequel) or make a better game on the next time they will make some. . . “Buying pirated stuff is STEALING, and stealing is AGAINST the LAW”

For me it depends on the replay value of a game, if its something I play for 1 week and then never play it again it is not worth the money. If it’s something that has me hooked up for months or if I return to it every now and then, I buy it.
So yeah, most games I pirate and then buy it when I feel like its worth it.

Indie games are no exception. Some are so pointless they aren’t worth a dime while others are worth ten times the price.

Nowadays i buy all my games.
I can completely understand people pirating.
I think there is nothing wrong with downloading and playing it a little to get the feel for it.
Since somehow there are enough games out there that do not even have a demo.

I wish they would more go to and make better games, in gameplay, graphics, mechanics etc etc.
Pirating will happen regardless and they always find a way.

well pirating is only for the games that arnt worth buying, thats why black ops is at the bottom of the list for xbox because it is worth its money… i play xbox 360, im decava if ya wanna add me

WoW MineCraft isn’t on there.
I have plenty of pirated PS1 games but aftert that I didn’t want to ruin my consoles to pirate games… And PC wise only pirated games I have are L4D2 because in AUS we have the shitty version and thats it.

Lol, I agree with Mendozacheers. I don’t pirate games, but when companies like EA and Activision make it a pain in the ass to play the legit version, they deserve to get it stolen.

I’m sorry, I’m a pirate. I just can’t afford to get everything that I want.

But I never pirated video games. I can never steal something that I care so much about. It just wouldn’t feel right. And especially becuase I’m going through school right now to learn how to program and code.

I only pirate (PC) games to decide whether or not they’re worth my hard-earned cash – after all, most of them are horrendously overpriced: Black Ops case-in-point. I was hoping Treyarch would have decided to suck less for this one – they didn’t, so I deleted it 10 minutes into the campaign (and like Mendozahcheers says, stealing money from Activision is a most noble of activities). Bad Company 2: there’s a game that pales in comparison to the original (the campaign, at least), so the same again.
And now Mass Effect 2: 20 minutes in, and I knew this game was worth every single penny, so I not only bought it, but also the first game too! £50 gone, and no regrets; they don’t even have a multiplayer!
Of course you’ll always have people who will pirate every game; but I really think that if companies put as much thought, imagination and love into games as Bioware do, piracy would be far less prominent.

I usually download a game, to check if my pc can handle it, if it can i buy it on steam or in the store if i can find it there..

the only games that i’ve done are those that charge you 10$ and have 0 replay value. else then that, my rig seemingly can’t play the big budget pc titles anyways… i’ve never pirated console games however.

I admit, I used to be a pirate back in the PS1 and PS2 days. But nowadays, I’m 100% legit with my Xbox 360 and PS3. I’m not against game piracy, nor am I against it. But yes, I do agree with Mendozahcheers that pirating Indy games is crossing a different line.
