Epic’s rockstar Game Designer Cliff Bleszinski teased the reveal of a new intellectual property at GDC 2011 in the latest issue of EGM, hinting that gamers should keep their “eyes peeled at GDC.” The new game is a collaboration between Bleszinki and Prototype Lead Designer Eric Holmes, so it’s probably going to be insane.

Bleszinki also shared his insights regarding creators and who will be lauded as the true universe creators of the current age.

“I believe game designers are the Stan Lees and Jack Kirbys of our day, and we’re creating these universes that leave a huge impact on people. Gamers votes with their dollars and they often like established IP, but those IPs came from somewhere, right?” Bleszinki said. “Call of Duty was crafted by the original Medal of Honor guys. Gears of War was crafted by the original Unreal Tournament guy. I look forward to creating what’s next.”

With Bulletstorm launching February 22 and a completely new IP being announced at GDC 2011 (February 28 – March 4), there’s going to be a lot of new and refreshing goodness from Epic Games.
