New PC Gaming Alliance Head Matt Ployhar chatted about the seemingly ineffectual organization and his future goals with Big Download recently, more or less saying there’s nothing to say. One of Ployhar’s top goals will be to enhance communication across the board.

“One of the top 3 things we’ll be changing inside the PCGA will be communication – both internally inside the PCGA; and more importantly externally – to the rest of the world,” Ployhar said.

Aside from that, they aim to create a Technical Advisory Board, but no real discussions will occur until the board meeting at CES.

“The 2011 plan will be discussed at our annual board meeting at CES. So nothing is currently set in stone and everything is on the table at this point,” Ployhar said. “We have a very large laundry list of things we’d all like to address and take care of. I’d say most notably is the desire to create a PC Gaming – Technical Advisory Board at the behest of the vast majority of our members.”

Ployhar can at least speak for himself.

“I’m honored, and flattered, to have been chosen to lead the PCGA,” Ployhar said. “I’m very dedicated in trying to get PC Gaming on the footing I’ve always believed it should have been on.”
