For those who don’t know Warhammer, suffice to say it was the inspiration for the original Warcraft. Warhammer 40K is seen by many as the inspiration of Starcraft. However, the universe that Games Workshop created has a great line of strategy games themselves.

Warhammer 40K Dawn of War II was a great game, so I’m looking forward to the upcoming expansion, Retribution, due out in March. With at least one new playable race, the Tyranids, it looks to bring more epic conflict to the universe.

If you’re a strategy gamer and have never played any Warhammer games, try out Dawn of War series. You won’t regret it.
