New Screens and Video for Batman: Arkham City

So, Gotham City is making its own version of Escape from New York with Batman as Snake Plissken for the upcoming Batman: Arkham City. I can dig it, but I love the use of Hugo Strange as the head of it all.

Who’s Hugo Strange? Believe it or not, this Batman villain actually precedes nearly all of the caped crusader’s rogue gallery, introduced before even the Joker. Of course, he’s come and gone throughout the decades, and had a major change of character a few times, but who hasn’t? His obsession with the dark knight is more worshipful than most. He’s one of the few enemies to figure out Batman’s alter-ego, though he has never been able to prove it.

One of the best things about Batman: Arkham Asylum was its in-depth knowledge and reverence to the Batman mythos. There’s no doubt that Batman: Arkham City has many more secrets to reveal, especially about both Catwoman and Two-Face. Damn, I really can’t wait for this game.
