World of Warcraft: Cataclysm Sells Pretty Dang Good

You know, if shattering records counts as pretty dang good. Clocking in at 3.3 million units in the first 24 hours of sales, Cataclysm broke the last PC game sales record of 2.8 million units, fittingly held by Wrath of the Lich King.
This figure includes both physical and digital sales. While it’s an impressive number to pull down, Call of Duty: Black Ops still has it punked at 4.7 million units – and that was just 24 hour sales from the US and UK.
Still, World of Warcraft tends to have nigh immortal shelf life, so sales of this expansion will go on and on. I’ve been rocking a Worgen since the launch, and plan to roll a Goblin with the lady if she ever decides to put her computer back together. What have you guys been doing in the new, shiny Azeroth?
