Ghostbusters Downloadable Title Announced

Chilean developers Wanako Studios are currently working on Ghostbusters: Sanctum of Slime for the Xbox Live Arcade, PlayStation Network, and PC as revealed by USA Today. The game is notably pared-down from 2009′s Ghostbusters: The Video Game, as it won’t feature any of the movie’s talent like Dan Aykroyd or Bill Murray. It will, however, feature the same Rookie from the previous game and allow for local or internet four player co-op.

Also, you’ll get to drive the Ecto-3. As a huge fan of Ghostbusters: The Video Game, I’d prefer the series go down that route, but sometimes you can’t afford all that business. Ghostbusters: Sanctum of Slime is coming out in Spring 2011.
