Are you ready for an orgy of Inside Gaming goodness? THQ recently hosted a love-in at their new office in Montreal, and thanks to that we not only have a hands-on with their upcoming shooter Homefront, but some choice interviews and even a tour of the new studio. Grab a masquerade mask and get in here, just be aware that you will probably smell a little funky in the morning.
First we have an interview with THQ Executive Vice President of Core Games Danny Bilson. The man is responsible for THQ’s change in drection from milking lukewarm franchises to focusing on new, original IP. In the interview, we get the short versin of how THQ snagged Patrice Désilets and how the company’s new direction will really start to kick in Q1 2011.

Chaos Studios Lead Level Designer Rex Dickson is next to the plate, talking how Homefront will use a silent protagonist and bleak, human settings to impress a very Half Life 2-esque sort of solitude on the player. According to Dickson, they want players to question all the killing, as opposed to just shooting because that’s what you do.

Finally we have a tour of the new Montreal studio for THQ. The sweet digs include tons of TVs all over the place and 57 miles of CAT6 cable to carry the sweet data juice.
