Keiji Inafune, the father of Mega Man, is no longer at Capcom. He left to pursue his own dreams, and to say some wonderful things about the state of Japanese game development.

He’s never been shy with his comments in the past. This interview, translated from 4GAmer, has him compare Japanese development to Communism. It’s an argument that Ayn Rand would be proud of. If your game sucks and doesn’t sell, you shouldn’t be paid.

Some of what he says makes sense, some doesn’t, but its an interesting read nonetheless.
