F.3.A.R. Release Date, Pre-Order Bonuses

If you’re interested in catching up on Alma and her happy family following the demon rape at the end of F.E.A.R. 2, you’ll get your family reunion on March 22, 2011 when the game releases on PC, Xbox 360, and PlayStation 3. What’s more, different outlets are offering freebies with pre-order for the game. Amazon’s offering a 12-page comic book taking place after the original F.E.A.R., Best Buy offers an in-game weapon called “The Shredder,” and Gamestop offers “The Hammer,” Paxton Fettel’s original sidearm.

Though Monolith started the F.E.A.R. series and developed its sequel, Day 1 Studios is taking over the third installment. We’ll have to wait and see if they have the same creepy magic.
