Though this number is admittedly far from official, early estimates peg sales of the PlayStation move at around 300,000 units in the US, which is surprisingly smaller than the number Sony’s flaunting from European regions. For unknown reasons, European folk have snapped up 1.5 million Move units. I guess they’re bigger fans of rolling down hills in wheely chairs there.
Then again, no Move titles matching American sensibilities (read: games in which you shoot people) have released just yet. SOCOM 4 looks to be the first, and that’s not hitting retail until early next year.
