Outrun Online Arcade Removed from PSN, XBLA Soon

Due to an expiring license agreement with Ferrari, Sega’s Outrun Online Arcade has been removed from the PlayStation Network. Though the game is still available on the Xbox Live Arcade, it won’t be for long.

“Due to the expiry of the contract with Ferrari, OutRun Online Arcade will remain offline on PSN but will still be available on XBLA until Dec 2011,” Sega said in an issued statement.

Knowing how nerds feel about rarity, this might create a last-minute sales spike for Sega.
