Jack Thompson, keep on trollin’. The legendary anti-game crusader has said more things, which of course means news for all. Electronic Arts recently announced that they’re dropping the Taliban moniker from the upcoming Medal of Honor video game. Thompson of course attributes this move to a personal victory, resulting from his ill-informed and misdirected campaign against the game.
When reached for comment via e-mail, Thompson readily had one available.
“I win again, as usual,” Thompson said. “Any gamers who don’t think so and who don’t appreciate what I do to protect our culture can go to Hell.”
Apparently that statement wasn’t enough of a burn, so Thompson sent this follow-up:
“and please add: Any gamers that don’t know how to get to Hell on an expedited basis, let me know, and I’ll send along the cheat code to get there more quickly.”
You know, my definition may be off, but I don’t recall winners being disbarred lawyers that insulted and threatened an entire group because of a personal vendetta. Actually, that sounds an awful lot like a sad loser to me, but I guess we have different definitions of the term.
