Blizzard’s issued a call to all Starcraft II players to report all chumps, lamers, and jackoffs so they can be reprimanded. Merely getting roflstomped by a cheeser isn’t enough to warrant a report though; only report spammers, harassers, real-life threats, inappropriate names, or straight-up cheating.

This can be done through the Battle.net interface by right-clicking on a player and navigating to “Report Player.” It’s a beautiful garden out there but we all have to chip in to pull the weeds now and again.

Unfortunately report is there just to make us, good people, waste our time. Since old DS I used to report cheaters and harassers, and NEVER saw even 1 of them being punished.

Cheaters and even more harassers are free to do whatever they want in bnet. Once I even saw a guy holding lobby host and not letting it start, he stayed there for hours yelling on ppl and making them leave so that lobby would never fill… I reported him and NOTHING happened at all! Many ppl that was trying to play also reported him, so even having a bunch of reports he stayed there for many days.

Maybe if a unique profile gets thousands of reports, then maybe some sleepy bonehead will notice and warn him. But for normal players it’s useless.
