Because Duke Nukem Just Won’t Die

A tweet by George Broussard (formerly of 3D Realms, currently of God knows what) simply points to an image of pigs flying, which has sparked a firestorm of speculation that Duke Nukem Forever has concluded its 12+ years of development. This speculation is based on old comments from Broussard saying that DNF would be complete when pigs fly.

Upon 3D Realms’ dissolution, Broussard claimed that development on Duke Nukem Forever would continue, regardless of external factors like the developer canning the project and retaining rights to the title. It’s possible the game is complete and Broussard is currently in talks with other publishers to reach an agreement over the title, but come on. We’ve been jerked around for 12 years. It’s time to let Duke Nukem go.
