22 Years of BOOM!

This week’s release of Madden NFL 11 is a perfect opportunity to reflect on the series’ long lineage. Or, at the very least, to look at some goofy cover art through the ages. Sports Illustrated collected the covers of all the Madden football games to date, and it’s interesting to see how the titular ex-Football star was gradually phased out of prominence on the cover.
