Pinball is Illegal Here
embedded by Embedded Video
I see a movie in this story. A guy from the big city moves to a small town where pinball is illegal. Through force of will, he opens the eyes of the town’s youth to the fun and excitement that pinball has to offer. The town elders respond by trying to shut him down, only to be thwarted when the kids stand up to the adults and earn their freedom to play pinball. Like Footloose, but less dancing and fewer women.
In Beacon, New York, it is illegal to operate a pinball or video arcade. Rather than ignoring this silly law from a bygone era, the city council (full of morons) decided that now was a great time to shut down a local arcade museum that had recently opened.
Because the last thing we need right now are more businesses.
