Free Shank Soundtrack Coming, First Track Available

Klei Entertainment’s doing everyone a solid by freely releasing the soundtrack to their forthcoming 2D beat ‘em up Shank. They originally promised to release the whole soundtrack if they gained 1,500 fans on Facebook, but did so in only three hours.
“Okay, we hit 1500 fans in 3 hours, and we’re continually climbing. I didn’t think we’d hit our target nearly this fast, so it’s going to take me some time to prep the rest of the tracks,” a post on the Shank website reads.
In the meantime, you can enjoy the title track here. I dig it, an interesting mix of Mexican Standoff guitar and a full brass section. Shank will release on the PlayStation Network on August 24, and follow a day later on Xbox Live Arcade (August 25).
