Red Dead Redemption DLC Next Week

The Legends and Killers pack will be released next Tuesday on Xbox Live and PSN. In it, you get eight characters, nine multiplayer locations, and a tomahawk. As much as I loved Red Dead Redemption, this DLC looks like a total ripoff at $9.99 or 800 MS points.

The multiplayer for RDR wasn’t bad, but it wasn’t the driving force for the game. In addition, you’re not getting anywhere new, just places for multiplayer that already exist in the single player game. It doesn’t even look like you get another gang hideout to co-op, just some skins and a weapon.

Compared to the excellent $10 DLC for Borderlands, the Legends and Killers pack seems nothing more than window dressing. I hope I’m wrong, but we’ll find out on August 10th.
