While Dragon Age 2 may be in the works, the folks at Bioware are still hard at work with new content to Dragon Age: Origins. I’m amazed at the sheer amount of content that now makes up the first game.

Seriously, the game that shipped was about 100 hours. I’m not even sure what it will clock in at now with the addition of Golems of Amgarrak.

When you include Warden’s Keep, Leliana’s Song, Darkspawn Chronicles, Return to Ostagar, and the full expansion Dragon Age: Awakenings, you might just have the longest RPG ever made.

We’ve come a long way since we were all making fun of the horse armor from Oblivion. Bioware is taking DLC to a new level with both Dragon Age and Mass Effect. Such support for some of my favorite games just might be the best part of this console cycle.

Golems of Amgarrak will be available August 10th for PS3, Xbox 360, and PC.
