Gamestop Buys Online Game Site Kongregate

In an effort to transition into this new fangled Internet fad, Gamestop acquired social gaming hub Kongregate Inc. this morning. Financial details of the deal are undisclosed at current, so unfortunately we can’t throw around big fancy numbers.
Kongregate will remain headquartered in San Francisco, CA under the leadership of its co-founders Emily and Jim Greer. This means that the Kongregate site won’t change soon, but the Greers may soon get a polite but stern letter suggesting they add a fun game where players go to a digital Gamestop and trade in games for credit. Imagine Diner Dash, but with more people asking you if you want to reserve stuff.
