Rumor: Ameterasu and Thor in Marvel vs. Capcom 3

Some pictures purportedly posted on the Marvel vs. Capcom 3 image website accidentally revealed Amaterasu from Okami and Thor from Marvel Comics today. Posters on NeoGAF were quick on the “Save as…” button, which proves that if it’s on the internet for a second, it’s on the internet forever.

The possibility always exists that these pictures are hoaxes, but they’re damn good if they are. Additionally, with Okamiden hitting the DS this September and the Thor movie out in 2011, the addition of these characters makes a lot of circumstantial sense. We’ll have to wait for official confirmation. Hit the rest of the story for the rest of the screens.
