Castlevania: Lords of Shadow Release Date Announced

Despite narrowing down the release date for the Castlevania reboot to October, Konami is still coy about the actual day.

Castlevania: Lords of Shadow exists outside the traditional Castlevania canon, which means zero vampires, though a Belmont does take the lead role. In the game, the Lords of Shadow have severed the connection between Heaven and Earth, preventing deceased souls from leaving this planet. There is a whip, but it is an upgradable pyrokinectic chain whip which is much more extreme.

As stated previously, Lords of Shadow is now expected in October for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.
