Xbox Slim 4GB, Kinect Bundles Confirmed

Major Nelson just updated his blog with details regarding the rumored Xbox Slim 4 gig and confirming the existence of an official Kinect bundle from Microsoft. The new Xbox model “includes built in Wi-Fi N, 4GB of internal flash memory and a black matte finish,” shipping to retailers on August 3rd with a $199 price tag.

The Kinect bundle is what you’d expect: a 4GB Xbox 360 Slim, the Kinect sensor camera, and Kinect Adventures for $299. The post also carries the first “official” confirmation that the Kinect will cost $150 by itself.

Now the only remaining wild card are the new hard drives, as the Xbox 360 Slim uses different hard drives than the original 360.
