James Bond 007: Blood Stone Announced

And the “blood stone” really just sounds like something that would require a lot of grunting and pain to “pass.” It’s probably much more menacing in the game. Developed by Bizarre Creations (Project Gotham Racing, Blur, Geometry Wars) for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC, the game promises to deliver “throttle, behind-the-wheel action on land and sea while using the most high tech gadgetry known to James Bond 007, the world’s most skilled secret agent.”

I do so love generic press releases. I guess we can rule out the idea that this is a James Bond cooking simulator.

In addition to the likenesses of Daniel Craig as Bond and Judi Dench as M, British singer-songwriter and actress Joss Stone will fill this iteration’s requirement for “Bond girl,” a term which feels vaguely demeaning. The release makes no mention of a release date or window, so that’s up in the air for now.
