No Third Season of 1 vs. 100

Microsoft Game Studios General Manager Dave McCarthy announced today that there will not be a third season of the Xbox game show 1 vs. 100. No reason for the cancellation (or lack of renewal, depending on how you look at it) was provided, aside from the implicit ‘Yo we’re busy with Kinect stuff.’

“When we started on this journey, we knew we were creating an entirely new genre of entertainment that would be a continually evolving concept,” McCarthy said. “We’re very proud of the ‘1 vs 100’ team and their accomplishments, and are excited to apply what we’ve learned to future programming.”

Here’s hoping that little bit about future programming turns into something substantial.
