Real Bionic Hand

Introduced a couple weeks ago in Germany, the bionic hand is here from a company aptly called BeBionic. Though lacking a grappling hook or surly one armed ex-commando to use it, you have to admit that the future is getting much cooler.

The hand of Vader, or I suppose Luke, features individual motors in each finger.  While I’m sure you could program it to have a crushing grip, its sensors are accurate enough to notice if something is slipping out of your hand and adjust. It also supports skin. Choose from 19 different shades, now with fingernails!

Face it, we’ll all be needing these in the future when we’re all suffering from new generation of arthritis caused by “gamer’s thumb”. Also, if video games have taught me anything, it will be needed to explode Hitler’s head.
